We are looking for a Sales Representative (m/f/d)

Position Summary:

Manages sales of the company’s products and services within a defined geographic area (Northern Europe), and/or vertical market. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues delivering on Rieke business objectives to improve short and long term sales and earnings.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Performs sales activities on all assigned accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with Sales Director.
  2. Responsible for specified growth targets in their assigned territory with new and existing clients.
  3. Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products related to relevant sales area.
  4. Adhere to all sales policies, practices and procedures.
  5. Deploy sales strategies to improve market share in area of responsibility.
  6. Provide input to Sales Director in the development of the annual sales plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts for each product and territory (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort).
  7. Provide input into sales objectives and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products for area of responsibility.
  8. Management of any assigned accounts.
  9. Ensure client issues are fully documented and address customer concerns.
  10. Take customer calls and email inquiries, enter and prioritize work orders, solve customer concerns, manage customer inventory and provide feedback to internal and external customers.
  11. Handle customers in difficult situations in a professional timely manner.
  12. Provide excellent customer service, follow up accordingly proving explanations on a timely manner.
  13. Attends sales team meetings.
  14. Collaborate with other employees by providing important customer feedback, process-improvement suggestions and new product opportunities.
  15. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  16. Provides succession pipeline for more senior roles.
  17. Works actively on assigned teams if required for Rieke major accounts.

Your profile:

  1. Degree in related field or 3-4 years sales/customer service experience.
  2. Proven success, knowledge and experience of selling, account management, pipeline management, negotiation skills, sales planning, building relationships, managing sales processes, customer service.
  3. Ability to deliver dynamic but succinct sales presentations.
  4. Computer literate (word, excel, ERP).
  5. Ability to deal with conflict and challenges.
  6. Strong business acumen.
  7. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  8. CRM experience.
  9. Sales skills, customer service.
  10. Ability to work with shared leadership and in cross functional teams.
  11. Strong listening skills, integrity and trust, customer focused, entrepreneurial spirit, has intellectual horsepower, can deal with ambiguity and paradox, ability to manage own time, organize and prioritize numerous activities, highly motivated, has perseverance and tenacity, excellent problem solving and negotiation skills, ability to inspire confidence with customers, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure.
  12. Travel expected between 20%-40%.

  2. Market knowledge, providing input into budgets and forecasting.
  3. Experience of working within a multi-national company.
