In Germany, AIR operates three routes to market – B2B sales, ecommerce (shisha-world.com) and offline retail. With a strong market leadership position, AIR through these channels, sells and distributes own brand and third party products including tobacco, vapes, nicotine free inhalation products, devices and accessories and others. AIR has exclusive distribution rights to multiple 3rd party tobacco brands.
Applicants must be based in or around Munich or willing to relocate to Munich from within Germany.
The Opportunity
A dynamic, commercial oriented and strategic-minded professional to join our team as Sales Planning Analyst for B2B Sales. This role will contribute to AIR’s B2B Route to Market with full P&L responsibility. B2B sales is our largest route to market with a strong presence with resellers, HoReCa operators and offline retail operators.
Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of a cluster of customers based on revenue tier, with accountability for meeting financial targets and ensuring the profitability of all initiatives within the scope of the role.
- Data driven approach to managing customers – the ideal candidate is adept with data analysis skills and takes a data driven approach to customer related decisions.
- Support the Head of B2B sales establish a strong sales governance mechanism leveraging category knowledge, strong relations with customers and combining it with strong data analysis skills.
- Monitor and evaluate performance metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of ongoing initiatives.
- Hunt for new customers in underpenetrated regions and customer segments and increase share of wallet with existing customers.
- Collect market relevant information regarding latest trends, customer preferences in a dynamic product category and channel to Head of procurement to enhance selection and drive sales by staying ahead of the curve.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, offline retail, sales or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales with clear delivery of sales targets and proven track record of data driven account management.
- Data driven person who is comfortable with facts and figures and presenting to senior leadership.
- An exceptional drive and a passion to succeed by creating value through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work with a high degree of independence, taking strong ownership to ensure the results delivered meet the ambitious targets.
- Thrives and truly enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Full working proficiency in English language and good working proficiency in German language (at least B2 level)
