Job Description:

Sales Manager Power & Electrical Central Europe (m/f/d)

Huntsman is seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Sales Manager (m/f/d) with a strong background in the specialty chemicals sector to lead account management and drive business development for our Advanced Materials division within the Power & Electrical sector across Central Europe.

This is an exciting full-time, permanent, home-based role. You will report to the Sales Leader Power & Electrical EMEA and will be responsible for expanding our market presence and achieving growth objectives across the Central Europe region.

Additionally, as the Sales Manager (m/f/d), you will:

  1. Act as a main customer contact for technical, sales, pricing topics for the entrusted accounts.
  2. Manage and expand a portfolio of customers across Europe, ensuring financial and commercial growth targets are met.
  3. Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships with key customers in Power & Electrical.
  4. Manage customer opportunities: build and follow up on product introductions with customers, ensuring growth and timely execution.
  5. Negotiate sales contracts, terms and conditions according to prices approved by Huntsman and in line with the current regulations and procedures.
  6. Actively manage credit performance and take corrective action within agreed business guidelines and support the certification and promotion activities.
  7. Collect market and competitor information and maintain a market review.
  8. Participate in cross-functional projects.

Requirements:

  1. Degree qualified with previous experience in both an account management and new business development role within the specialty chemicals sector.
  2. Strong communicator with proven business development skills and a passion for identifying new business opportunities.
  3. Experience and know-how acquired in electricity transmission/distribution equipment manufacturing industry is a major asset but not essential.
  4. Entrepreneurial, results driven and autonomous in your approach with strong skills in organization and negotiation.
  5. Fluency in German is essential.
  6. Fluency in English is required. Any other language is a significant asset.
