Sales Manager (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle for RFA orbital services, encompassing launch and more, focusing on deal closure and mission execution.
- Focus on establishing and strengthening relationships with European Institutional Customers, including the European Space Agency, European Commission, and other space agencies in Europe, along with major European satellite manufacturers such as Thales Alenia Space, Airbus Defence and Space, OHB Group, and others.
- Position RFA as the premier satellite launch service provider for Europe by forging compelling synergies with European space programs and building privileged relationships with prime clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders in the institutional and commercial market, collaborating closely with internal teams to develop and present compelling proposals (Mission Management, Solutions Architect, Bid Manager, Internal Sales).
- Represent RFA on the global stage by participating in space conferences, conducting customer visits, and engaging in advocacy efforts.
Your Qualifications
- Master‘s degree in Engineering, with a focus on mechanical, aerospace, propulsion, or electronics, or Business. A dual degree is strongly preferred.
- A deep passion for space and a genuine commitment to people.
- Sound knowledge of space applications and services.
- Proven track record in successfully selling and closing high-tech, high-value services, especially in the space or aviation sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to engage, persuade, and influence senior-level stakeholders, including C-suite executives and heads of agencies.
- Previous experience with the European Space Agency or other space agencies and government affairs is a significant advantage.
- Fluent in both oral and written English, as all day-to-day activities are conducted in English.
- Proficiency in at least one other European language, such as French or German, is a strong plus.
