Sales Manager (Cutting Tools)

A leading Japanese manufacturer of Bearings and other mechanical components is currently recruiting a Sales Manager of Cutting Tools for end users within the automotive and industrial sectors in South Germany and Austria.

SALARY: €80k-€100K annually depending on experience (includes 13th month bonus)
START: Negotiable
LOCATION: Southern Germany (home-office, with occasional visits to the office near Stuttgart)
WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
BENEFITS: 30 days annual leave, company car

Sales Manager Responsibilities:

1. Sales of cutting tools in the main sales area of Southern Germany and Austria
2. Support of existing and acquisition of new customers
3. Providing professional advice and support to customers in all technical and commercial matters relating to the product range
4. Conducting competent sales negotiations as a contact person
5. Active use of all available sales channels (in person, by telephone, social media, etc.)
6. Practical demonstration of tools to the customer as well as analyzing the problem and finding solutions with the help of tools
7. Planning and organizing customer visits, training courses, projects, and presentations
8. Maintenance of visit reports in the CRM system
9. Reporting to a General Manager of Cutting Tools

Sales Manager Ideal Candidate:

• 3+ years of Sales experience of cutting tools or similar products
• Technical background is advantageous
• A valid EU Driving license is required
• Business level English and German language skills required
• PC skills (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• High willingness to travel, mainly in Southern Germany and Austria
