OHB Digital Connect GmbH is a subsidiary of the Bremen-based space and technology group OHB SE. Its business activities focus on ground-based systems and services. These primarily include the operation of satellites as well as the provision of IT systems and applications for using satellite-generated data. For permanent employment, OHB Digital Connect GmbH in Bremen is looking for a Sales Engineer (m/f/d). The position can be full-time or part-time.

Your Tasks

Your activities will range from developing future project ideas and business cases to managing and writing proposals. Some examples are:

  • Definition of concepts for products, services and complete ground segments or user segments for Satellites
  • Creating a network of contacts to customers, potential scientific and industrial partners, colleagues within the whole OHB Group
  • Contributing to studies, R&D projects and space system proposals (technical and commercial)
  • Preparing activities like scouting for opportunities, identifying and initiating R&D, industrial teaming, budget allocation to tasks
  • Coordinating the creation and writing parts of technical proposals, management proposals, implementation proposals, service proposals

Your Qualifications

  • University degree in Space System Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or a related engineering area
  • At least first, preferably profound, professional experience in one of the following areas: system engineering, software development, space system operations, Satcom, project management or business development
  • Capability to present in front of customers and colleagues
  • Motivation to do what is needed to get things done
  • Ability to work independently to gather knowledge and skills required
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with team members
  • Fluency in spoken English and professional in writing (B2), preferably fluency in spoken German and professional in writing (B2)
