We are currently looking for a Sales Engineer (d/f/m) - Chemicals and Energy - Western Germany. This position is primarily based in the Leverkusen, Cologne, and Düsseldorf area (North Rhine-Westphalia) and focuses on serving our customers in the chemicals and polymers, as well as oil and gas production sectors.

This position is part of the commercial department and will be fully remote.

Responsibilities:

1. Increase sales revenue through customer visits and CRM funnel management
2. Conduct technical and commercial negotiations and manage contracts
3. Independently manage projects and initiatives with support functions
4. Implement price increases and close frame contracts with key accounts
5. Acquire new customers and explore new markets and applications

Minimum Requirements:

1. Successfully completed studies in Mechanical or Chemical education or similar qualification
2. Professional experience in field sales and Key-Account Management with a proven sales track-record
3. Technical understanding of the chemical, transformational energy, refinery, and oil & gas industry
4. Fluent German and English language skills
5. Ability to travel – around 70% within the territory
6. Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
