The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Sales teams' operations and strategies. By researching market trends and conducting competitor analysis, you will develop and implement sales strategies.

Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in Europe.
  • Identify and prioritize key markets, industries, and customers to drive business growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt strategies accordingly.

Business Development:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product development, and operations) to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to key clients, understanding their needs and providing innovative solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.

Financial Performance:

  • Manage the regional sales budget, forecast accurately, and report on sales performance to senior management.
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the battery, energy storage, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a highly competitive market.
  • Deep understanding of the European market, including regulatory frameworks, industry trends, and customer needs.
  • Strong network of contacts within the automotive, renewable energy, or industrial sectors is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional European languages or Chinese is a plus.
