The Sales Controller, or Sales Performance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving the performance of the sales team. You will help identify main areas for improvement, develop strategies to improve sales efficiency, and ensure that performance metrics align with our goals. You will play a critical part in effecting change and achieving revenue targets.
About the team:
As part of our Sales Enablement team, you'll join a dynamic and diverse group of 12 professionals, representing 7 different nationalities, with your immediate team consisting of 5 experienced experts. We work with multiple partners across sales to ensure seamless processes, efficient sales administration, and the successful management of our campaigns. Our projects are diverse, covering everything from strategic planning to hands-on operational support, giving you the opportunity to apply your skills in different areas. We value innovation and are dedicated to driving our success. The role directly reports to the Sales Director.
Monitor sales performance metrics (e.g., revenue, quota completion, conversion rates) and provide relevant insights to improve results.
Develop and implement sales performance improvement plans in collaboration with sales leadership.
Conduct detailed analysis of sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
Support sales teams in setting realistic targets and KPIs, ensuring agreement on overall goals.
Provide regular reporting and performance dashboards to the sales team and leadership.
Partner with sales enablement and training teams to identify skill gaps and recommend development projects.
Lead performance reviews and provide feedback on areas for improvement.
Help develop and implement incentive programs to motivate the sales team.
Ensure sales processes are efficient and followed to improve performance outcomes.
Stay up to date with industry best practices and sales technologies to enhance productivity.
Ideally Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
Experienced (at least 3 years) in a sales performance, sales controlling, sales operations, or similar role.
Able to interpret complex data and make recommendations.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and performance tracking tools.
Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
You work independently and as part of a team.
Experienced in complex project and stakeholder management
Basic knowledge in Accounting and Compliance processes
An understanding of process flows and operations support applications, a result and business orientation, a deep multi-project implementation expertise are necessary
Must be native/C2 in German; confident (min. B2) English.
