We are hiring for our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of advanced composite materials.

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Centre EU countries, home office based in Germany, France, Italy, or Spain.

Job General Scope:

Our client is seeking a Sales/Business Development Manager – EMEA – Core Materials - PET. You will work closely with the manufacturing sites to deliver a complete solution to the Marine and Industrial sector.

The emphasis will be on PET foam business development in identified markets where implementation of solutions as kits or finished sheets/flat panel is required (Industrial application core material, sandwiches panels, wood panels).

Your main missions and responsibilities will include:

  1. Building a growth strategy for recycled PET in markets evolving towards sustainable materials.
  2. Producing, developing, and executing the regional sales plan in line with the business strategy.
  3. Managing and developing new/current accounts to exceed customer expectations in terms of service and support, optimize sales potential, and control debt management.
  4. Leading negotiation and development to ensure the timely closure of prospective sales, optimizing business potential and revenue.
  5. Identifying and onboarding new customers from Industrial markets.
  6. Providing support to planning, business development, marketing, and technical departments in the development and implementation of business line strategies.
  7. Communicating with the Head of Sales EMEA all relevant opportunities by customer by material type.
  8. Owning and leading a clear business development plan for each customer to meet all expectations for timely development of the entire sales process.
  9. Forecasting and owning the demand to include evaluated growth by potential customers.
  10. Gathering and feedback to the organization important market information on customer, competitor plans, and activities to enable important choices for our resource allocation to be made profitably.

Qualification Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s/Engineer degree in Materials Sciences.
  2. 5-7 years of B2B Sales experience within an industrial environment.
  3. Knowledge/experience of selling PET/Epoxy/Adhesive products/Sandwich panel.
  4. Strong negotiation skills with major customers.
  5. Results-driven, proactive, rigorous, and a good decision maker.
  6. Able to build strong relationships with both commercial and technical people at all levels.
  7. Excellent communicator with fluent English; additional European languages being an advantage.
  8. Availability to travel within the EU.
