We are hiring for our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of advanced composite materials.

Location: Centre EU countries, home office based in Germany, France, Italy, or Spain.
Job General Scope:
Our client is seeking a Sales/Business Development Manager – EMEA – Core Materials - PET. You will work closely with the manufacturing sites to deliver a complete solution to the Marine and Industrial sector.
The emphasis will be on PET foam business development in identified markets where implementation of solutions as kits or finished sheets/flat panel is required (Industrial application core material, sandwiches panels, wood panels).
Your main missions and responsibilities will include:
- Building a growth strategy for recycled PET in markets evolving towards sustainable materials.
- Producing, developing, and executing the regional sales plan in line with the business strategy.
- Managing and developing new/current accounts to exceed customer expectations in terms of service and support, optimize sales potential, and control debt management.
- Leading negotiation and development to ensure the timely closure of prospective sales, optimizing business potential and revenue.
- Identifying and onboarding new customers from Industrial markets.
- Providing support to planning, business development, marketing, and technical departments in the development and implementation of business line strategies.
- Communicating with the Head of Sales EMEA all relevant opportunities by customer by material type.
- Owning and leading a clear business development plan for each customer to meet all expectations for timely development of the entire sales process.
- Forecasting and owning the demand to include evaluated growth by potential customers.
- Gathering and feedback to the organization important market information on customer, competitor plans, and activities to enable important choices for our resource allocation to be made profitably.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s/Engineer degree in Materials Sciences.
- 5-7 years of B2B Sales experience within an industrial environment.
- Knowledge/experience of selling PET/Epoxy/Adhesive products/Sandwich panel.
- Strong negotiation skills with major customers.
- Results-driven, proactive, rigorous, and a good decision maker.
- Able to build strong relationships with both commercial and technical people at all levels.
- Excellent communicator with fluent English; additional European languages being an advantage.
- Availability to travel within the EU.
