Sales Application Engineer m/f/d

Responsibilities

• You project all customer requirements, including technical clarification, and carry out inquiries.
• You will develop technical concepts and layouts.
• In addition to checking the customer's specification sheet and preparing offers, you will carry out project calculations.
• You will be responsible for conducting customer visits, preparing contract negotiations, and participating in them.
• You will carry out the technical, and partly commercial, order clarification with the customer and hand over the order to the internal organization.
• You maintain customer and offer data in the IT system and are responsible for order tracking.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering sciences or training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) with previous technical vocational training or master craftsman training.
• Several years of professional experience in the fields of automation technology, general mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or assembly technology.
• Basic business administration knowledge and knowledge of sales.
• Confident handling of the MS Office package as well as experience with CRM and ERP systems.
• CAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Analytical, conceptual skills.
• Professional appearance as well as communication skills and initiative. Very good knowledge of German and good English language skills; other foreign languages are an advantage.
