Rota Maternity Nanny for VIP family, Bavaria #49541

Wonderful long term position for a highly qualified and experienced nanny / maternity nanny who holds a valid EU passport.

This is a very wonderful, kind, caring family close to Munich, near a popular lake and not far from mountains. They are looking for a skilled maternity nanny who will work a 14 days on / off rota schedule. The shifts are daytimes only, 12 hours per day, 7am til 7pm.

Baby is in a good routine and the family will only consider nannies who are happy to keep to the structured routine which works well. They follow the Gina Ford method.

You will have a good amount of experience as a maternity nurse / nanny and also you will have worked in some long term nanny positions. Qualifications in baby care, and Montessori or similar is preferred.

This is a long term position, as the family keeps their staff long term.

They have the 1st rota nanny, who has already been working for them for some months, and now they look for the 2nd rota nanny.

Accommodation is paid for by the family and is close to the family home. In your 2 weeks off, you would be expected to return to your home.

Nanny should also be experienced in travelling with employers and babies / young children and used to working in high profile families / multi-staffed homes. Discretion is essential.

Completely fluent in one of these languages to a native level: English, German, French or Spanish. The parents wish to bring their child up to be fully bilingual. Must speak completely grammatically correct (as a native speaker would speak) and also preference for without an accent.

Should have EU passport and a good amount of experience working with babies.

Start date is between April and June, for long term. They wish to interview ASAP.

This is a kind, friendly family and the baby is healthy and sleeps well.

The family has a small dog.

The family has homes near Munich, Germany and in Mallorca. Expect to spend time at both locations and maybe other destinations if they travel for work or holiday.

Requirements

• Qualified nanny with certificates and training in baby care and young children.
• Previous experience with VIP families and frequent travel.
• Completely fluent in English, German, French or Spanish, to native level, experienced nanny.
• Flexible.
• Warm and Kind Demeanour: A caring, nurturing approach is essential for this role.
• Verifiable references for recent baby nanny / maternity nanny experience.
• EU Passport: Required.
• Driving: A valid driver’s license preferred but not essential.
• Flexible Start Date: April-June start for long term.
• Working Hours: 14 days on, 14 days off. 12 hrs p / d 7am til 7pm.
• Up-to-Date criminal background check.
• Right to Work in the EU: EU passport.
• Must be fit and healthy, able to lift and carry growing baby with ease, take baby out in the stroller, run after baby when baby becomes mobile.
• Strictly Non-Smoking & non-vaping position.
• Up to date, enhanced criminal background check.
• Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate.
