We are looking for two highly motivated research assistants to strengthen our research team. There is the possibility of a doctorate. The project will investigate the effects of a short straw gene on the drought tolerance and nitrogen efficiency of rye.

The Chair of Crop Production deals with topics relating to sustainable plant production. This includes breeding-relevant questions on abiotic stress tolerance and genome-based modelling as well as the development of sustainable cultivation systems and fertilization strategies in crop production. The research group is involved in the Maritime Systems profile line at the University of Rostock.
