Remuneration: Pay group 13 TV-L

Scope of position: 0.5 FTE (20 hours/week)

Fixed term: 3 years

These Are Your Tasks

The research group at the Chair of Partial Differential Equations focuses on the functional analytical treatment of time-dynamic partial differential equations. The position holder should be active in teaching and research as well as strive for a scientific qualification.

In Particular, This Concerns The

1. Implementation of lectures, exercises
2. Participation in various projects of the institute (e.g. questions in homogenization, control theory and non-local partial differential-algebraic equations)

What We Expect From You

1. University diploma or master's degree in the field of mathematics or comparable subjects
2. Sound knowledge of functional analysis or partial differential equations and the willingness to familiarize yourself with new abstract topics
3. Good knowledge of German or the willingness to acquire this; knowledge of written and spoken English
