Position Summary: The Regional Marketing Manager for Germany will be responsible for tailoring and implementing the company’s marketing strategies to the German market. This role requires a deep understanding of local marketing dynamics and consumer behavior to effectively increase the company's market share and brand presence in Germany. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the bike industry and a proven track record of developing and executing local marketing strategies that drive sales while connecting to the central marketing strategy.
Position Responsibilities: Reporting to the Manager, International Marketing, you will:
Adapt and execute the marketing strategies developed by the International Marketing Manager to suit the German market.
Conduct detailed market research to identify local trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local media, influencers, and marketing partners.
Collaborate with local sales teams to create marketing initiatives that drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
Manage the marketing budget for the German region, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Produce regular reports on marketing campaign performance and market insights for the International Marketing Manager.
Organize and participate in local events and trade shows to boost brand visibility and networking.
Ensure all marketing activities comply with local regulations and cultural norms.
Foster a team-oriented environment within the marketing department and collaborate with other regional managers to share best practices.
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
Experience in the outdoor sports industry, preferably in the mountain biking sector.
Excellent knowledge of local marketing channels and consumer behavior in Germany.
Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and campaign results.
Proficient in German and English.
Strong leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
