The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and results-orientated Regional Marketing Manager DACH to join our team and lead the marketing activities for our B2C consumer product ranges.
In this role, you will play a key role in managing key product ranges and support the implementation of marketing strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for regional marketing and branding based on the company's strategic planning.
- Formulation of general offline marketing strategies and plans development of an annual regional advertising calendar and corresponding budget planning.
- Responsible for local brand building and marketing promotion.
- Carry out various brand marketing and offline activities focused on target channels and customers to improve brand image and product promotion efficiency, and support the sales team to continuously expand market share.
- Preparing product promotion materials, converting product selling points from technical language to market language and creating a product promotion TOOLKIT to make marketing promotion more efficient.
- Responsible for the localised design and production of promotional materials, issuing the promotional materials system and providing the sales team with sales tools, materials and customer cases to support sales in market expansion.
- Conduct market research to understand the industry and grasp market dynamics, competitor activities and product trends, assist in conducting consumer surveys and research, and provide strategic support for the company's business development and differentiated competition.
- Offline terminal construction and management, planning and implementation of terminal promotion programmes and support for joint promotions with customers.
- Be responsible for local channel promotions and integrated marketing efforts, assisting the sales team in carrying out themed promotions and integrated marketing activities to enhance brand awareness and increase sales.
Requirements
- Experience: At least five years of appropriate working experience in marketing, product, brand, innovation and/or digital marketing management in leading FMCG companies, ideally within the mother and baby or intelligent hardware industries.
- Knowledge of GfK/Nielsen market panels mandatory, Google Analytics, Ideation and Collaboration tools of advantage.
- Full-time bachelor's degree or above, with a preference for marketing professionals.
- High self-motivation, excellent communication skills, assertiveness and team spirit.
- Versatility: Preferably multi-skilled, with experience in retail, wholesale, and digital, and a strong background in working across cross-functional teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to navigate matrix organisations and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Brand/Consumer Expertise: Ability to understand the marketplace and be culturally connected to youth-oriented consumers.
- Marketing Expertise: Proficient in using marketing measurement tools to focus spending allocation and evaluate success. Proven ability to execute programs that build brand equity.
- Creative Vision: Able to drive the brand’s “look and feel” through the right channels. Fluent in next-generation consumer marketing approaches (e.g., digital/social media) to generate consumer interest.
- Innovation & Experimentation: A forward-thinking mindset with a focus on experimentation. Willing to test new approaches, learn, and apply successful methods to future initiatives.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to look beyond today and plan for long-term, sustained demand creation and brand differentiation.
- Proactive & Flexible: Demonstrates high levels of flexibility and initiative.
- Languages: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German, additional other foreign language is of advantage.
