RAD Area Manager, RDE1

Amazon (OTS SC) has an immediate opening as RAD Area Manager to support our new building RDE1. The Operations Technology Solutions Supply Chain organization manages and is responsible for a wide variety of hardware testing and deployment, new device launches and project initiatives that cross business teams and operations groups within Amazon Fulfillment IT.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Steer all warehouse flow activities - receive, stow, pick, pack, provision, RMA
2. Steer all dock flow activities - IB and OB
3. Allocate daily and weekly RAD Support AA resources to meet demand
4. Coordinate incoming and outgoing trucks in coordination with dock team
5. Monitor weekly and daily forecast vs. capacity for all standard RAD operative tasks
6. Troubleshoot and support RAD Support AAs in all daily activities
7. Ensure correct processing of requests in DSCS
8. Inventory management
9. Monitor and report on defined KPIs
10. Steer ICQA activities within RDE1 - Weekly cycle counts, Inventory maintenance, Physical storage maintenance (5s, etc.)
11. Monitoring of threshold levels using DSCS and inventory dashboards
12. Inventory balancing between 3PL and RAD
13. Enforce safety guidelines and execute H&S audits
14. Ensuring a clean and safe work environment for the whole team
15. Cooperating in diverse team with rapidly changing priorities in an ambiguous environment
16. Standing and/or walking during a minimum 8 hour shift
17. Lift up to 35 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
18. Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather

7. Develop Associates and Process Leads according to their individual strength and build a consistent talent pipeline

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. You have a completed master's degree or 5+ years of Amazon experience
2. You take ownership in your work and team and are available to work overtime during Amazon's peak holiday season and as needed year-round.
3. You are flexible to work on any type of assigned shift (nights, weekends, etc.).
4. You pride yourself in leading others; you have direct management experience and have been responsible for your employees' performance.
5. You have an eye for efficiency and have experience identifying and executing process improvement initiatives
6. You are able to deep dive into a problem statement and independently derive necessary actions based on data driven structured analysis
7. You are fluent in German and English
