Quantitative Risk Manager

Your tasks:

• Coordination, support and quality assurance of the risk monitoring- and risk reporting processes of the subsidiaries of HDI International AG
• Analyzing risk model results and deducing relevant steering information for our management
• Improving and automating reporting processes to fulfill increasing regulatory- and internal requirements
• Compiling a quarterly risk report to inform management and regulator about our risk situation
• Implementing, improving and operating internal risk models

Your profile:

• Successfully finished B.Sc.-, M.Sc.- or PHD-degree in math or business administration with a quantitative focus
• Relevant experience in risk management, controlling, accounting or actuarial science preferably in insurance business
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking as well as the ability to work on complex topics and processes with a strong sense of responsibility
• Experience in data processing and analysis: mathematical, statistical and econometric modelling
• Highly autonomous, venturous and able to work under pressure
• Team-minded and the enthusiasm to work in an international and interdisciplinary environment
• Programming experience in R, VBA and SQL as well as willingness to learn and improve upon one’s skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
