Quality Assurance Manager

Location : Remote (Germany-based), with travel across Europe

Are you a senior leader in renewable energy project management, ready to take on a strategic role overseeing large-scale solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS) projects across Europe?

A leading renewable IPP focusing on Wind, Solar, and BESS is seeking a Director of Project Delivery to lead the successful execution of its expanding portfolio of utility-scale solar and BESS projects.

They currently have 6GW of installed capacity across Europe, with an ambitious target to develop an additional 2GW of solar and BESS projects by 2030.

About the Role :

As the Director of Project Delivery, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of multiple high-value renewable energy projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a key leadership position requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams across Europe and offers progression to a global role in the future.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects across Europe.
• Lead and manage a team of Project Managers, EPC Managers, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to HSE, regulatory, and quality standards across all projects.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Regularly report to senior leadership on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and timelines, ensuring optimal resource allocation.

Key Requirements :

• 10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on large-scale renewable energy projects (solar and / or BESS).
• Proven leadership experience in managing multinational project teams.
• Strong understanding of the European renewable energy market, regulatory landscape, and permitting processes.
• Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
• Willingness to travel across Europe as needed.
