We are now looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager (m/w/d) based in Frankfurt am Main

• Responsible for Central- and Southern Europe

In this position you will act as an integral member of the Area Procurement Team ensuring the strategic and profitable development of the company’s activities in CSE.

You will report directly to the Area Strategic Sourcing Director, CSE.

Your duties and responsibilities

• Implement effective sourcing strategies for different kinds of goods and services across multiple countries in Central and Southern Europe.
• Manage suppliers’ performance with a focus on continuous total cost control and performance, defined improvement, and innovation.
• Actively engage cross-functionally and with local business leaders as a strategic partner to drive down costs while enhancing customers' experience, product quality, and productivity.
• Continuous support to Operations team in his area, increasing compliance.
• Establish an overall strategy to source different families of products and services ensuring cost savings while maintaining and improving quality. The key parameter being Total Cost of ownership.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers partnering to solve problems and ensure high quality, reliable sources of supply and information.
• Effectively negotiate pricing, contracts, and SLAs with suppliers to ensure optimum costs and reliable supply according to the Corporate Procurement Policies and Procedures for RHG.
• Operate as the leader for all issues with suppliers in terms of quality, delivery service, costs and ensure alignment with all internal partners.
• Work very closely with the corporate procurement team in HQ, implementing global contracts in the Area.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in procurement / strategic sourcing.
• Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Economics, Business or related field.
• Excellent German and English skills.
• Proven negotiation and analytical skills.
• Able to work within a global and highly matrixed organization.
• Strategical thinking and being able to clarify critical priorities to create business value.
• You have the ability to assess potential risks.
• Influence your stakeholders internally & externally.
