For our Head Office in Düsseldorf, we are looking for a full-time:

PROMOTION SPECIALIST

We are looking for you with ...
a big affinity for data, analysis and reporting, as well as experiencing joy of working with various stakeholders and excitement for the beauty industry.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Plans and coordinates promotional activities on all channels
• Financial simulations of promotions
• Leads the planning of Holiday season
• Tests and analyzes new promotional mechanisms
• Improves process flow for promotion management
• Provide support in special projects
• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
• Performing requirements analysis
• Documenting and communicating the results of the promotions
• Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
• Analysis of customer insights for pricing and promotion improvement
• Analysis of the results (sales, margins, discounts ...) with focus on axis, market (selective, exclusive, Sephora), categories, brands and comparison with the German market / competition; Identify deviations and look for the causes and / or problem
• Prepare action plans together and follow up together with your Manager

We are looking forward to meeting you, if you:

• Have flexibility & hands-on mindset
• Possess strong analytical & communication skills
• Have a proven analytical background
• Hold a master degree in business economics
• Have 2-3 years of experience in category, promotion and/or pricing management
• Are highly skilled in the application and use of Excel and Maxxing
• Are fluent in English (written and verbal)

• Sales lift and margin management of promotions
• Absolute Margin improvement
• Technical Promotion planning accuracy
• Promotion result analysis depth
• Number of newly tested mechanisms
