Project Manager, Supply Chain Automotive

Your Job:

1. Operational planning and control of Blue Yonder software projects
2. Project team leadership in the resolution of customer project issues, escalating to appropriate parties as needed
3. Supporting the team from your own department and other teams in cross-departmental, interdisciplinary projects
4. Delivery of project results in compliance with our quality standards and budgets
5. Continuous project controlling based on the Blue Yonder Professional Service methods and targets
6. Risk Management for customer projects
7. Coordination with our customers, as well as the maintenance and continuous development of our customer relationships
8. Acquisition of new customers through customized demonstrations of Blue Yonder solutions
9. Training of delivered software at the customer's premises
10. Carefully analyzing our customers' needs on business processes and deriving software requirements for our project teams and software developers
11. Working with agile project management methods and regular reporting
12. You will work mainly out of Stuttgart or Chemnitz office with some travel to customer sites or other Blue Yonder office locations as allowed per guidelines

Your Profile:

1. You have a university degree, ideally in (business) informatics, business administration or engineering
2. Ideally, you have already gained experience in project management and application deployment in the automotive industry segment
3. You demonstrated leadership experience in guiding and managing smaller and mid-sized project teams in software consulting, implementation or development projects
4. You have practical knowledge and experience in project management methodologies and common software tools
5. You have a methodical understanding of modeling business processes and defining specifications for software development
6. You have an affinity for analyzing complex problems and finding suitable solutions without losing sight of economic factors
7. Your strengths include a strong focus on results, the ability to work in a team and self-motivation
8. Communication with international contacts at different executive levels is no problem for you
9. You are self-motivated, goal-oriented and work well under pressure, both independently and within a team
10. You are self-confident and have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
11. You are legally authorized to work in Germany
12. You are also willing to travel to customer meetings and have very good communication skills in English and German
