Project Manager Praetorian (f/m/d)

For the "Spectrum Dominance & Airborne Solution" division, we are looking for a "Project Manager Praetorian (f/m/d)" at the Ulm site as soon as possible.

The program area "PRAETORIAN" is responsible for the production, development and further development as well as performance reviews / performance evaluations of the self-protection system (DASS - Defensive Aids Sub System) of the Typhoon / Eurofighter of one of the largest European / international major programs in European aviation.

The "Project Manager Praetorian" is responsible for representing the interests of HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH nationally and internationally in the Praetorian program area together with the supporting departments.

Your Tasks

• Technical management of the project team and implementation of systematic project planning and execution
• Participation in ensuring the successful strategic positioning of the program area within the consortium.
• Independent and autonomous handling of national and international projects in terms of time, costs and quality
• Ensuring customer satisfaction within the scope of project responsibility
• Preparation of offers in cooperation with internal stakeholders including sales (bid management)
• Participation in national and international negotiations with customers and strategic suppliers to position HENSOLDT within the Eurofighter DASS consortium
• Ensuring active risk, resource and opportunity management
• Conducting presentations for management and customers

For this position the willingness to travel internationally is mandatory.

Your Profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering or similar
• Many years of experience and very good knowledge of project and bid management (PMI certification)
• Sound experience in the technical management of teams in complex business areas and systems
• Knowledge of electronic warfare (EW) advantageous
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, persuasion and conflict resolution skills
• Good presentation and negotiation skills
• Business fluent in German and English
