We are currently seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to join our team and oversee mechanical & electrical engineering & generator installation project on a large Data Centre in Offenbach, Frankfurt.

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for managing mechanical & electrical engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, designers, and technicians, to deliver successful outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating mechanical and electrical installation of works, ensuring the successful execution and delivery within specified timelines and budgets.
- Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitoring progress to ensure project milestones are met.
- Managing project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Collaborating with internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration and alignment of mechanical engineering activities with project objectives.
- Conducting regular project meetings to update stakeholders on project status, address any issues or concerns, and facilitate decision-making.
- Reviewing and approving mechanical and electrical engineering designs, drawings, and documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Ensuring adherence to relevant health and safety regulations and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Managing project risks and implementing appropriate mitigation measures to mitigate project risks.
- Preparing project progress reports and presenting them to senior management and clients.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in managing mechanical engineering projects, preferably in the energy or power industry.
- Strong project management skills, including project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the ability to motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, practices, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
- An EU passport holder.
- Hold a Blue Card to be able to work in Germany.
