Project Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager Test Business & ERG (f/m) to join Rolls-Royce Deutschland in Dahlewitz close to Berlin.

Your tasks will be:

• To project manage and control operational and strategic infrastructure investment projects to create or maintain Rig Test capabilities
• To develop capabilities with respect to external Sales of Testing Services (ERG – External Revenue Generation)
• To apply, maintain or develop appropriate rig-specific project management tools in line with global processes
• To gather internal and external customer requirements with respect to investment-related subjects and potential external orders (ERG); to prepare management decision papers including business case evaluations
• To provide technical and business consultancy with respect to execution of Invest projects and external orders (ERG)
• To control external project-related interfaces (partner, suppliers, authorities) while conducting projects
• To develop and continuously maintain a project-specific management reporting concept and toolset including KPIs to track project progress
• To continuously develop and implement business improvements

To be successful in this role you will need to:

• Engineering or Business Engineering degree or comparable experience
• Experience in Component/Rig Test business environment, proven technical capability to understand customer requirements
• Proven project management skills, application of project management tools, excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to understand commercial contract design and legal implications
• Creativity, flexibility to travel
• Very good written and spoken English essential, good command of German language preferred
