Project Management Office (PMO) Consultant for Space Projects

We’re currently looking for a Project Management Office (PMO) Consultant to support our client EUMETSAT, a renowned international organization operating Earth observation satellites from space. This role is based in Darmstadt, Germany (Frankfurt area), one of Europe’s key hubs for space operations.

REQUIREMENTS

- A degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences.

- 4+ year of experience in a project management role within software or engineering projects

- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following:

• Project/program management support in PMOs (e.g. risk/action management, scheduling, reporting).
• Technical management support in engineering contexts (ideally aerospace or complex systems).
• Systems engineering or quality management in technical projects.

- Strong knowledge of project planning, tracking and scheduling using Microsoft Project.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Fluency in English (professional competence)

The following additional skills are a nice to have:

• Project Management certifications (PMP, Prince2, PM2, AgilePM)
• Previous experience in the space or aerospace sector
• Familiarity with PPM tools or dashboards
• Background in in Data Analytics, KPIs, or performance monitoring
• Experience with multi-project environments or portfolio management

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Project Management Office Consultant at IMMEDIA, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of complex engineering projects. Become a trusted partner to project and program managers as part of our international team of experts. Be the voice of PMO excellence by leading the implementation of project management best practices and contribute to initiatives that are not only challenging but crucial for the planet. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Support the execution of structured project management practices along the project lifecycle in activities such as scope, milestones, risks, actions and reporting.
• Contribute to formal project reviews (PDR, CDR, etc.)
• Produce clear and actionable documentation: meetings minutes, reports, follow-ups.
• Be an active participant in organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
