TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Project Lead Offshore Cable (m/f/x) to join the Regional Cluster Wilhelmshaven as part of the 2GW Program who shall be based in Hannover, Hamburg or Bremen. Could this be you?
As Project Lead Offshore Cable you are responsible for the realization of the offshore cable scope within the Regional Cluster Wilhelmshaven for the projects BalWin3 & LanWin4 throughout all phases of the project execution. You ensure compliance with all applicable HSE guidelines, contractual requirements, schedule constraints, budget, quality requirements, internal documentation requirements, and authority regulations.
You (functionally) lead and coordinate TenneT’s interdisciplinary team assigned to the offshore cable portion of the project. You develop and continuously maintain collaboration-oriented relationships with various stakeholders (e.g. contractors, suppliers, authorities). You are responsible for the upholding of project management requirements and proactively manage the projects risks and chances. You help manage interfaces across projects, especially in relation to the offshore platforms and nearshore cable scopes. You align with experts and teams within Large Projects Offshore as well as with those in other departments to help ensure and improve standards of the 2GW program and to consolidate shared learnings across projects.
This will be our challenge. Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition. The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.
TenneT is a leading European grid operator. We are committed to providing a secure and reliable supply of electricity 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, while helping to drive the energy transition in our pursuit of a brighter energy future – more sustainable, reliable, and affordable than ever before.
