Project Director Food & Fat Oil Refinery Construction building

For our client, a large food company, which is building a new food oil & fats refinery near Bremen, we are looking for a project director construction.

As the project is already far underway, we are looking for a director to take hold of the construction management with a focus on finance and control. We are looking for someone with an audit mindset.

We ask:

1. Experienced Senior Manager > 20 years of professional experience in the project realization of large complex construction projects in industrial construction or in the construction of industrial production facilities (building construction and civil engineering) - Ideally as a civil and/or industrial engineer, plant engineer.
2. Communication skills and team experience in leading an international project team.
3. Business fluent in written and spoken English and German.
4. Strong personality to lead a project team.
5. Preferably technical and commercial project experience.
6. Negotiating skills in business dealings with external project partners.
7. Experience in working with the group management board (structured reporting).
8. Ability to work under pressure and assertiveness.
9. Willingness to travel.
10. Project experience and knowledge in the field of plant and equipment installation in the food industry.
11. Experience in dealing with public authorities.
