Responsibilities:

• Work in an agile DevOps team with passionate problem solvers and develop new solutions for our traders.
• Analyze together with the team use cases, identify requirements and design secure cloud solutions for in-house applications.
• Contribute to all phases of the end-to-end software development process, from understanding problems, finding and implementing solutions to supporting them.
• Work closely with traders and portfolio managers to understand their requirements first-hand.
• Keep an eye on the architecture and the interaction of all elements of the infrastructure and continuously develop them further.
• Take pride in your work and in providing solutions which are maintainable, secure and support-friendly.

Requirements:

• Several years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• First experience in document-oriented databases, preferably MongoDB (Atlas).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, as well as a strong understanding of AWS services. This includes, but is not limited to Cloudformation, ECS, Lambda and S3.
• Tool knowledge: use of Azure DevOps, automation through pipelines, IaC, especially serverless and CloudFormation.
• Datadog monitoring and logging are no foreign words for you.
• Experience in energy trading or in a comparable environment is a big plus.
• Social skills: You feel empowered by a fast-paced environment and are prepared to “go the extra mile”, if necessary.
• Very good communication skills in German and English.
