Deine Aufgaben

As Product Manager, you will lead the development, launch and success of our platform, which represents the strategic heart of our company’s vision for the future of surgical education. This role involves deeply understanding the user experience for orthopedic surgeons to tailor solutions that meet their specific needs and surgical expertise. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, customized platform that brings unique value to surgeons and ensures fast, efficient lead generation for our partners through integrated advertising and affiliate programs. With a direct line to the business unit director of education and frequent exchanges with C-level executives, you will be driving our top-priority project with full organizational support.

Define and Execute Product Strategy and Vision

  1. Develop and refine the vision for an education-focused platform that places the surgeon at the center, tailoring content and service based on their experience and specific needs.
  2. Establish a detailed roadmap and strategic game plan for the platform’s initial six months, laying out a clear business case and growth plan for the next 3–5 years.
  3. Identify competitive advantages by analyzing trends and positioning the platform as the premier educational hub in surgical training.
  4. Drive Development and User-Centric Customization
  5. Work closely with the platform partner to build a user experience that adapts to each surgeon’s level of expertise, providing tailored resources for optimal preparation for each operation.
  6. Oversee the development of a customized reference board and profile features that allow surgeons to establish individual brand reputations and showcase their expertise.

Stakeholder Engagement and Partner Programs

  1. Collaborate with surgical societies, MedTech companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate sponsorships, advertisements, and lead-generating affiliate programs.
  2. Develop metrics and analytics to measure partner engagement and lead-generation success, providing actionable insights to optimize platform effectiveness for partner organizations.

Launch and Post-Launch Optimization

  1. Lead and coordinate the platform’s launch within the six-month target, ensuring readiness across all technical, user-facing, and partner-integrated components.
  2. Establish KPIs to measure platform adoption, user engagement, lead conversion rates, and partner satisfaction, using data to guide continuous improvement.

Reporting and Strategic Alignment

  1. Report directly to the Business Unit Director for Education, acting as the key driver of the platform’s strategic focus for the company.
  2. Engage in regular high-level exchanges with C-level executives to align the platform’s development with the broader strategic objectives of the organization.
  3. Coordinate a dedicated education management, marketing and community teams and support and guide partner and content management support.

Dein Profil

Experience

  1. 5+ years in product management, ideally with a background in digital education, medtech and healthcare technology, or marketplace platforms.
  2. Proven success in launching high-impact products with a strong user-centered design and rapid iteration cycles.

Industry Knowledge

  1. Knowledge of surgical education, healthcare technology, or the unique needs of medical professionals, with an ability to quickly adapt to orthopedic surgery-specific requirements.

Analytical and Strategic Abilities

  1. Strong skills in data analysis and strategic planning, including experience building multi-year business cases and roadmaps.
  2. Ability to gather and leverage data on user behavior and partner engagement to drive product decisions.

Leadership and Communication

  1. Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver complex projects on tight timelines.
  2. Strong communication skills to effectively articulate product vision, engage stakeholders, and foster a shared sense of purpose.

Technical and Project Management Skills

  1. Familiarity with agile development methodologies, product lifecycle management, and a strong understanding of UX/UI principles.

Demonstrated success in managing partnerships with external development teams or platform partners, ensuring alignment and high-quality delivery.
