As a Product Manager at hexafarms, your mission will be to build innovative products that meet the needs of our customers.

We’re a rapidly growing startup, with an ambition to build the operating system for commercial plant and food production. From day zero, you will have an immediate impact by informing our product roadmap, scoping our next set of hero features and liaising closely with our technical team to build and release core product modules.

The ideal candidate will have proven success in small, high-paced product teams and is excited to join as the first dedicated product person, shaping & building this team together with our CEO.

What The Job Involves

1. You’ll be our first Product Manager, joining a growing product team which currently consists of crop science experts, and a group of amazing full-stack engineers & AI experts.
2. Working directly with the founders, you’ll be a key player in driving the product lifecycle from discovery to delivery, iterating at speed for our holistic product offering (software and hardware).
3. You’ll be an expert on our users. You’ll speak with them regularly and will be responsible for analysing their needs and pain points, key market trends and make sure we’re always focusing on solving the biggest burning pains.
4. You'll analyse product requirements, scope & define features and work closely with the technical team to develop and launch these initiatives (software and hardware).
5. You’ll help shape the roadmap for the long term while staying flexible enough to react to new information and opportunities on a daily basis.
6. You'll help build systems & processes to foster cross-team collaboration and prioritise product initiatives according to business needs.

Your profile

Application Requirements

1. Strong communication skills and the ability to proactively support, manage, and at times lead teams.
2. 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, or equivalent. Experience building B2B products ideally with experience in SaaS.
3. Exceptional problem solving skills and proven ability to structure complex setups and translate feedback into actionable insights.
4. You have a hands-on mentality, ready to work both on strategic as well as operative tasks.
5. You’re passionate about building the best possible experiences and having a real impact on how our food is grown.
6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and clearly communicate reasoning.
7. You’re always keen to dive deep into data to support decisions and hone your intuition.
8. Nice to have: experience with hardware.
9. A strong skill set in project management, organizational and strategic thinking, combined with an analytical mindset and hands-on mentality is needed.
