Product Expert ID Document Personalization (m/f/d)

In our IDMS business line, we are looking for a

Product Expert ID Document Personalization (m/f/d)

to start as soon as possible at our location in Munich.

The IDMS business line provides solutions for the personalization of identity documents such as passports, ID cards, driving licenses, etc.

As Product Expert ID Document Personalization you will be responsible for a portfolio of third-party personalization machines as well as the development of personalizable security elements.

Your tasks:

1. Continuous market and trend analysis and monitoring
2. Maintaining contact with manufacturers of personalization machines for passports and ID cards
3. Evaluation and qualification of selected machines for the Veridos portfolio and acceptance tests of machines for our projects
4. Analysis, assessment and optimization of the quality of personalization in cooperation with the machine manufacturer
5. Commissioning and 1st level support for machines that are set up for test and demonstration purposes at our site. Participation in corresponding operator and S&M training courses of the machine manufacturers
6. Technical support in the preparation of offers for personalization solutions for passports and ID cards. Definition of requirements for machine manufacturers. Technical review of the offers submitted by the manufacturers
7. Development and qualification of personalizable security features for passports and ID cards
8. Personalization of generic and customer-specific sample documents for our sales department and for the qualification of personalizable security features on the Veridos machine park or in cooperation with machine manufacturers

Your profile:

1. Several years of experience in working with product personalization machines based on laser and/or inkjet technologies. Additional knowledge in other technologies is an advantage
2. Sound knowledge in engineering and mechanical engineering or a degree in physics or comparable professional experience
3. Preferably experience in dealing with government-issued identity documents as well as a deep understanding of customer operations and their implementation
4. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and presentation skills
5. Business fluent English is required, knowledge of German is ideal, French and other foreign languages are an advantage
6. Structured and solution-oriented thinking and acting, combined with a practical and proactive way of working
