For the Next Generation Products department we are seeking a talented Product Developer / Blender to join our dynamic team, focusing on the development and scaling of nicotine pouches.

Position Overview :

As a Product Developer / Blender, you will be responsible for formulating and refining nicotine pouch products from the ground up. This includes creating innovative flavor profiles, optimizing nicotine delivery, and ensuring a consistent product experience. You will also be tasked with scaling these formulations for mass production while maintaining the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Formulation Development: Create and optimize nicotine pouch formulations, balancing nicotine release, flavor, and mouthfeel.
• Flavor Innovation: Develop new and exciting flavor profiles, considering consumer preferences and market trends.
• Scaling: Transition small-scale formulations to full-scale production, ensuring consistency and quality in large batches.
• Quality Control: Conduct rigorous testing and analysis of products to ensure they meet company standards for taste, texture, and nicotine delivery.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, regulatory, and marketing, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure all products meet legal requirements in various markets.

Your profile :

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in product development, preferably in the nicotine, tobacco, or food and beverage industries.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of nicotine formulation, flavor development, and product scaling. Proficiency in analytical testing methods and quality control processes.
• Creative Thinking and Problem-Solving: Ability to innovate and think creatively to develop unique products that meet consumer demands.
• Project Management: Experience in taking products from concept through to production, with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
• Attention to Detail: High level of precision and thoroughness in product formulation and testing.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Fluency in English and German.
