In this role, you'll lead a large product area, providing clarity in all aspects of your domain, possessing deep, industry-leading experience, and being regarded as exceptional by peers both internally and externally. You'll manage and hire talent for diverse teams, drive high-impact initiatives, and lead an entire product group in collaboration with Engineering and Product Management partners.
Role Requirements: What you need to succeed
- 3+ years experience managing a world-class design team through performance management
- 10+ years of professional experience as a Product Designer, working in scaling or scaled tech companies
- Experience working closely with Product Management and Engineering to define product strategy and OKRs.
- Possesses experience in building and launching products at a successful product company.
- Ability to simplify objectives and projects to deliver in the most efficient and high quality way.
- Experience mentoring individual contributors, contributing to their growth and success, particularly through challenging projects or features.
- Experience identifying and consolidating frameworks, systems, tools, adding simplicity and driving velocity.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do
- Managing a team of individual contributors across various products and initiatives.
- Identifying, driving, and delivering high-impact and valuable initiatives for the company.
- Attracting, hiring, and investing in high-potential senior individual contributors and managers.
- Leading an entire product group in collaboration with Engineering and Product Management partners.
- Identifying problems and opportunities that others may not see.
- Ensures collaboration is productive, actively improves own function. Simplifies process, removes blockers, sets up best practices to drive speed of execution and outcomes.
- Creates outsized impact on the quality of the design organization at large.
