Job Description:

To further strengthen our Automotive Digital Product Marketing Team (Automotive MCU) at our Düsseldorf location we are looking for a pro-active and results-oriented Principal Product Marketing Specialist (f/m/d) to drive the growth of our next Generation Automotive MCU Products. We are open to candidates with at least 5-10 years of experience in relevant roles.

Your Role:

1. Support of Renesas Automotive Microcontrollers
2. Collection, definition, and close follow-up on Global customer requirements
3. Coordination of projects with dedicated major automotive customers
4. Take over a leading role in working with internal technical marketing and design section to define and follow-up on roadmap development for Renesas microcontroller products
5. Work with internal 1st and 2nd level support teams for Renesas products
6. Work with internal sales teams to support customer promotion strategy and execution
7. Coordination and effective information exchange with Renesas Japan
8. Reporting of performance indicators (KPI) to upper management
9. Develop and drive market introduction plan (e.g., lead customers, lead market segment/application, etc.) worldwide
10. Ensure availability and drive responsible departments for the complete “product package” (documentation, starter kits, flyer, software) for market introduction including training of the sales force for assigned products
11. Produce public marketing materials such as whitepapers, press releases, webinars, etc.

Qualifications

Your profile:

1. Graduate in electronic engineering
2. Minimum 5 -10 years of experience in relevant product marketing in semiconductor industry
3. Experience in the automotive market, good understanding of Carmakers and Tier 1 requirements
4. Comprehensive knowledge of embedded Microcontrollers and Eco-systems
5. Proven track record of Product definition and requirement management
6. Good understanding of relevant marketing concepts (Go-To-Market plans) and customer expectations
7. Strong communication skills, team-oriented and ability to work in a multicultural and agile environment
8. Fluent in English (written and spoken) and German (preferable)
9. Work with software IT infrastructure and standard PC tools (MS-Office)
10. Ideally experience in: Automotive system design, E/E architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Customer negotiations, Handling of complex technical RfQ’s in collaboration with key customers, MCU architecture / Networking, Functional Safety / Security, Embedded Software
