PR & Social Media Manager

We are currently hiring a PS & Social Media Manager at our Barsbüttel, Germany location!

This position requires a PR and Social Media Specialist to develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for the European market. This includes identifying appropriate channels, creating engaging content, managing influencer relationships, and monitoring key performance indicators. The specialist will work closely with marketing coordinators and the US headquarters to ensure alignment with overall marketing goals.

This position will also require working with marketing coordinators to build and maintain a PR network. The specialist will write engaging PR copy that aligns with the company's marketing objectives and track the effectiveness of PR activities to measure their impact.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Identify appropriate SM channels for the European market
• Development of an international (EU) social media strategy and implementation of a social media content plan
• Creation of SM posts/content for various channels for the EU market in coordination with marketing coordinators and US Headquarters
• Create and implement influencer relations collaborations, including selection of appropriate content creators in close collaboration with marketing coordinators.
• Creation of text content for the EU market for SM activities and customer loyalty
• Monitoring and reporting of all activities with the relevant KPIs
• Ongoing identification and evaluation of social media/influencer trends
• Development of a PR network in conjunction with the marketing coordinators
• Write compelling PR copy that aligns with overall marketing goals
• Monitor and analyze PR activities to measure their effectiveness

Education and/or Experience

• Successfully completed a degree or training program in journalism, communications or media
• Has at least 1.5-3 years' work experience in a social media and/or PR agency
• Professional experience in social media and online editing
• Solid understanding of PR copywriting
• High level of commitment to working with new channels
• Excellent knowledge of social media, META and analytical skills in evaluating social media and PR metrics
• Experience in an international environment is an advantage
• Creativity, cossmedial thinking, independent and structured way of working, ability to work in a team and willingness to help
• Very good knowledge of English at competence level B2, C1 or C2
• German as mother tongue or C2 level of competence
