Purpose of the position

This is a pivotal role where you will lead the end-to-end implementation and ongoing management of Intersnack’s Infor PLM Optiva system. You will be the bridge between business needs and system capabilities, ensuring seamless integration across R&D, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • PLM Implementation & Integration
    • Lead the business side of the PLM (product lifecycle management) system implementation, ensuring alignment with critical business needs.
    • Act as the PLM (product lifecycle management) process owner, shaping processes, roles, and system design to fit Intersnack’s business model.
    • Collaborate with IT, R&D, Quality, Procurement, and Operations to integrate PLM with ERP, Regulatory, and Supply Chain systems.
    • Partner with Infor’s development team to tailor the system to Intersnack’s requirements.
    • Develop an agile training and change management plan to ensure user adoption.
  • Process Optimization & Governance
    • Define and maintain product data structures, formulation management, and version control.
    • Ensure full PLM system integration from product ideation to end.
    • Drive data integrity, security, and compliance within the system.
  • Collaboration & Innovation
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve new product development cycles.
    • Support regulatory and quality teams in managing specifications, labeling, and compliance documentation.
    • Analyze PLM (product lifecycle management) data to provide insights for reducing ingredient and formulation complexity.
    • Keep up with industry trends to enhance PLM capabilities and business growth.

Scope of Authorisation

The holders of this position will define, apply and continuously improve the realization approach in line with the overall guidelines and in agreement with the business and technical experts – fulfilling the overall target.

Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience in PLM system implementation and management.
  • Deep understanding of Infor PLM Optiva or similar PLM systems.

Skills

  • Strong expertise in product development, formulations, and compliance regulations in the food industry.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with ERP-PLM integration (Infor M3, SAP, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations (EU, GFSI, FDA, etc.).
  • Familiarity with data governance and digital transformation.
  • Background in an international FMCG environment.

Willing to travel – expected level of travel of this position is approx. 50% / week.
