Player Safety & Behavior Specialist (w/m/d)

Join our team as a Player Safety & Behavior Specialist. You will support our efforts to maintain fair play across all Travian Games titles. This position is perfect for detail-oriented individuals with a passion for games and a curiosity about how players interact and exploit game systems. You'll help monitor gameplay activity, identify suspicious behavior, and support investigations while growing your skills in data analysis and automation detection.

Your Technical & Analytical Skillset

• Experience: 1 – 3 years of experience in community support, QA, player moderation, similar roles involving behavioral analysis
• Game Mechanics Knowledge: Understanding of strategy-based games; familiarity with Travian titles is a plus.
• Data Interpretation: Basic grasp of statistics and the ability to work with charts, logs, and dashboards
• Detail Orientation: Attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward learning and improvement
• Analytical Mindset: Logical thinker with problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach.
• Community Insight: Ability to navigate forums, Discord, and similar platforms to understand cheating trends and player behavior patterns.
• Languages: Fluent in English (written and verbal); German skills are an advantage

Your Quest

• Behavior Monitoring: Observe live game servers to identify unusual player activity and potential automation
• Case Tagging & Documentation: Assist in flagging suspicious cases and collecting data to support investigations
• Data Visualization: Use tools to interpret gameplay data and highlight anomalies
• Rule Enforcement Support: Work with internal teams to process straightforward enforcement cases accurately and efficiently
• False Positive Review: Help review and analyze cases incorrectly flagged by detection system to improve accuracy
• Tool Proficiency & Development: Learn and utilize detection and analysis tools provided by the Bot Detection and other internal teams
• Player Integrity Advocacy: Contribute to affair and competitive player environment across all Travian Games titles
