Technical planning and support of offshore wind projects both in the office and on-site
Conducting scouting trips and occasional deployments on offshore installations to monitor and support project implementation
Creating and maintaining detailed project plans for offshore wind projects
Developing and implementing work preparations and technical concepts
Elaborating technical and logistical procedures and method statements from initial idea to final execution
Evaluating different solutions with respect to costs, time and technical risks
Ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and quality requirements in the offshore wind industry
Collaboration with internal departments and external partners for successful project execution
Preparing technical reports, documentation, and presentations
Assessing calculations and technical documents and drawings and identifying potentially missing or conflicting information relevant for the project
Identifying and assessing technical risks and opportunities within the projects
Monitoring project progress and initiating corrective actions when necessary
Your profile:
Completed degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on offshore, renewable energy, naval architecture or mechanical engineering
Several years of experience in project planning and work preparation in the offshore wind industry
In-depth knowledge of standards, regulations, and quality requirements in the offshore sector, particularly in Europe and Germany
Experience in the technical planning and execution of offshore projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German language skills would be an advantage
Willingness to undertake scouting trips and occasional offshore deployments
Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to work
Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
Ability to identify and assess technical risks and opportunities in projects
Understanding of cost drivers and cost impacts to the overall project
Proactive and solution-oriented work approach
