Still managed by its 4 founders, the company is going through organic growth, improving its service to customers and moving its systems to a new technology stack. With an interesting company structure where each business line is a separate entity, the group has been able to maintain the atmosphere of a small cozy company while having the resources of a big company. This means that decisions are made quickly, and most of them happen within a team.

Product: Developing solutions for the domain of health insurance, life insurance, etc. Each team is responsible for one product.

Responsibilities:

1. You will assist in the planning and implementation processes of complex web applications from design to release to maintenance.
2. Optimization of the backend of existing product features in terms of performance, speed, and stability.
3. You are involved in QA management; find errors and help solve problems on the platform. In teams, DevOps are made requirements.
4. Experience in the frontend or backend development of websites and applications.
5. As a frontend developer, you need experience in Angular. Knowledge of React and Knockout.js is an advantage.
6. Knowledge in the field of APIs.
7. Understanding of database and caching systems such as MySQL, Redis, and Memcached.
8. Very good knowledge of German, spoken and written.

About the team: The IT department consists of 40-50 people across 5 teams. The working atmosphere is very relaxed; people often grill and drink beer after work. There are good opportunities for middle and senior-level professionals to develop and work as a team leader or lead developer. The work schedule is 40 hours without overtime. Team values focus on development rather than meetings.
