Our client are one of Europe’s leading producers of renewable energy. With exciting plans to continue their expansion worldwide, our client have been growing their offshore wind portfolio in the German market and are now searching for a dedicated Permitting Coordinator to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the development team in conjunction with the Head of Permitting.
• Handle the processing of approval applications and related documents.
• Understand approval procedures from the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency and adhere to relevant federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Manage and update approval-related documents.
• Monitor and process changes in pertinent legal documents.
• Deliver project presentations.
• Coordination with consultancies, contractors, and relevant authorities.

Candidate Profile:

• Completed studies in fields such as civil engineering, industrial engineering, political science, natural sciences, sustainability, administrative law, or related disciplines.
• Professional experience in the offshore wind industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in German and English; French is a plus.
• Experience in communicating with authorities.
• Previous project management experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.
