This job is 100% remote and can be based in Germany, Spain, Portugal or the U.K.
Your Profile
- 3+ years of experience as an HR administration specialist, payroll specialist or in a similar role with exposure to international HR administration
- Strong knowledge of German labor law, payroll systems and compliance regulations, with prior experience in German companies
- Degree in HR, human services, business administration or a related field
- Fluent in English and German, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Quick to grasp new concepts, adapt to change and implement improvements in a dynamic environment
- Proficient in Google applications and experienced in HR tools like Personio
- Detail-oriented, highly organized and capable of working independently to meet deadlines
- Passion for fostering a positive employee experience and culture-building
- Familiarity with remote-first work environments, including supporting international teams and navigating cross-border HR complexities
Your Mission
- Manage payroll processes for our international team ensuring accuracy and compliance while collaborating with external partners across multiple countries
- Serve as the go-to expert for team members on payroll, tax and employees administration matters
- Support year-end closing activities in People & Culture
- Handle all aspects of contract management from creation to amendments
- Maintain and optimize employee records, reference letters, compliance documentation, social security and pension schemes
- Oversee and improve processes related to vacation accruals, time-tracking and overtime management
- Support seamless onboarding and offboarding experiences for employees, including relocation support and benefits setup
- Identify opportunities to enhance administrative processes, automate workflows and improve efficiency
