As PR Manager at bunq, you will help us spread the word about exactly how we do that, by positioning our company's achievements, products, and services in mass media and building strong relationships with reporters in your country (either Germany or France). You'll be the go-to expert for localizing the global PR strategy in your market.

Take ownership:

As a PR Manager at bunq, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive PR strategy that enhances our brand reputation and achieves our communication goals. This will include:

1. Developing and executing strategic media relations campaigns to secure publications, online outlets, and broadcast media.
2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key journalists, editors, and experts.
3. Drafting key messaging, press releases, media pitches, statements, talking points, and other communication materials.
4. Monitoring media coverage and responding to inquiries from the media.
5. Making sure bunq is represented at all leading events and awards that cater to the digital nomad community.
6. Proactively identifying and capitalizing on newsjacking opportunities to generate positive publicity.

2. You are a strong writer and editor with excellent communication skills.
3. You are a strategic thinker who can develop and execute effective PR campaigns.
4. You are proactive, resourceful, and have a keen eye for detail.
5. You are passionate about our company's mission and values.
6. You are familiar with the media landscape relevant to our industry and digital nomads.
7. You have native level language skills for the location you are applying for (German or French).

If you're located outside the Netherlands, you'll travel to Amsterdam for onboarding and visit our Dutch headquarters 4 times a year. While we have small office spaces available in Paris and Munich, you're welcome to work from home. You'll join a remote team, with most of your PR colleagues based in Amsterdam and one dedicated PR Manager per country.
