As a Partner Account Management Student Worker, you will work with partners to provide sales leadership by transforming the partners' business models and developing joint business plans. Under supervision, you will provide operational support expertise to drive Microsoft's strategy and enable the partner to grow their business. With the team, you will serve as a trusted advisor to build portfolio and represent Microsoft to the partner channel. You will sell modern solutions and services ecosystems to partners to drive Microsoft's mission and impact partner business and ensure detailed account updates and metrics are reported on to senior leadership to enable evaluation of account performance.

Responsibilities
- Builds trusting relationships with partners to grow business and develop deep understanding partner priorities, strategies, and goals and how they align with Microsoft’s. Understands markets and partner trends and develops connections with key market players to close and execute on business opportunities
- Collaborates with internal teams (e.g., category, specialist sales, marketing) to support partners. Shares overall business plans with relevant stakeholders.
- Works with internal stakeholders and partners under guidance of team members to develop joint business plans that generate revenue for the partner and Microsoft. Considers short- and long-term goals.
- Consults with leaders and internal stakeholders to define activities and expectations to meet Microsoft and partner sales goals as well as develop go-to-market and co-selling strategies with partners to meet sales goals.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications (RQs)
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Business Administration or related field
- Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship
Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
- Excellent Communication skills and strong writing and presentation skills
- Thrive and deliver results in a fast-paced, sometimes ambigous environment
- Ability to influence and inspire
