Job Title: Operating Theatre Assistant (OTA)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Operating Theatre Assistant (OTA) to join our surgical team. The OTA will assist in preparing the operating room, supporting surgeons during procedures, and ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment
• Ensure operating rooms are clean, stocked, and ready before each procedure
• Help in positioning and preparing patients for surgery
• Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols
• Support surgical team during operations as needed
• Handle and dispose of medical waste appropriately
• Transport patients to and from the operating theatre
• Record keeping and documentation of procedures and equipment usage

Requirements:

• Diploma/Certificate in Operating Theatre Technology or related field
• Prior experience in an operation theatre environment preferred
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments

Job Title: Anesthesia Technician Assistant (ATA)
Department: Anesthesia / Operation Theatre
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Anesthesia Technician Assistant (ATA) to assist anesthesiologists in preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, as well as supporting patient care before, during, and after anesthesia administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain anesthesia machines and equipment
• Assist anesthesiologists in patient monitoring and documentation
• Check and stock anesthesia drugs and consumables
• Ensure proper sterilization and functionality of anesthesia tools
• Assist in patient positioning and transfer
• Support emergency procedures when necessary
• Maintain accurate records related to anesthesia procedures and supplies

Requirements:

• Diploma/Certificate in Anesthesia Technology or related field
• Previous experience in anesthesia assistance is an advantage
• Understanding of anesthesia practices and patient monitoring
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Team player with good communication skills
