Operational Supply Chain and Logistic Manager (m / f / d)

As the responsible Operational Supply Chain and Logistic Manager (m / f / d), you will act as a Change Agent in our supply chain and logistics team and design the operational supply chain and logistics processes in our European production plants. You will work closely with a team of local SCM-Experts on site.

You will be responsible for the development of SAP methods, systems, and tools that support and map the reduction of lead times and inventory levels along the supply chain, as well as the reduction of logistics costs.

As well, you will act as the responsible person between the SAP process owners for the SAP modules (MM, PP, SD, WM) and the operational SCM processes in the plants.

In addition, you will act as a driving initiator, mentor, and implementer for the sites in order to integrate the lean mindset into the supply chain and introduce new ideas.

You are responsible for implementing the defined supply chain and logistics processes with the local logistics managers in the production plants and driving them forward.

Your skills and strengths

• You have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree, preferably in the area of supply chain, engineering, operations, or business administration.
• You benefit from several years of professional experience in the field of operational supply chain and logistics.
• You are characterized by an independent and structured way of working and a quick grasp of things.
• You benefit from excellent communication skills in German and English and enjoy working in a team.
• Sound knowledge of the SAP modules MM, PP, WM, GIB, and MS Office as well as business fluent written and spoken German and English are required.
• A willingness to travel within Europe is also required for this position.
