ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Packager is a key stakeholder for inbound RFPs and also serves as a necessary bridge to internal execution teams, balancing EFG's internal fiscal and operational needs while also interfacing with the client to ensure their satisfaction. This means working alongside, and in parallel, with the partnership, production, and project management teams to help create budgets for inbound RFPs, co-author execution plans for inbound business, and work with internal teams and vendors to ensure that everything is delivered to our standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the main point of contact between the games partnerships team and the production and broadcast teams, concerning the live event planning and execution.
  • Act as a liaison between EFG and Client stakeholders; Identify risks, monitor potential scope creep, and work with internal teams to be proactive, discover, and convey relevant updates.
  • Partner with the Project Managers to navigate and analyse budget decisions, ensuring decisions are in the best interest of the product and partnership teams, along with the client to ensure we meet the financial targets.
  • Support the team with suggestions for the execution of productions, on the levels of both cost efficiency as well as feasibility.
  • Partner with Event IT staff to ensure reliable and robust workflows.
  • Drive overall planning and execution of live event deliverables with the Project, Production and Broadcast teams ensuring client and EFG goals are achieved.
  • Identify and manage project-related items such as RFP creation, crewing, vendor management, and general personnel/tasks.
  • Partner with the production and project management team to create and manage project roadmaps, work back schedules, and task and milestone reports.
  • Provide consistent project updates to various stakeholders on project delivery, strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Lead and manage internal navigation of issues that arise throughout project execution.
  • Ensure that globally accepted, internal best practices related to project execution, stakeholder management, and communication are implemented.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing in-studio and/or event productions of all shapes and sizes.
  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience managing a project or initiative from start to finish.
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple departments and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with third-party partners and vendors.
  • Strong negotiating and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work within an environment of frequently changing priorities (does not get flustered by changes and last-minute issues).
  • Ability to be proactive and problem-solving, and able to delegate and oversee teams working independently.
  • Strong ability to supervise experienced vendors.
  • High level of professionalism, diplomacy, and integrity.
  • Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours as needed.
  • Ability to travel and be abroad.
  • Ability to work under time pressure and remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to utilise technical software (Vectorworks and/or AutoCAD).
  • Familiarity with project management software (JIRA, Trello, Asana, Smartsheet, monday.com, etc.) and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail.
