Operations Manager / Specialist (Munich, Germany)

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity for an Operations Manager / Specialist to join this Global Video Team, supporting Germany. In this role you will be responsible for translating complex agreements with content providers into standardised metadata, managing vendors, working closely with the content acquisition team and building trustworthy processes to streamline content operations.

The ideal candidate will enjoy defining new processes, successfully and dependably delivering results, and collaborating cross-functionally to support automation and scale. At the same time, they are not afraid to roll up their sleeves to simply get the job done.

The Role

• Improve customer experience through reducing operational defects.
• Launch video titles by matching contract with all various assets.
• Interpret content license agreements into standardised metadata.
• Manage title schedules and communicate key dates to stakeholders.
• Set up new partners for payments and respond to partner payment enquiries.
• Develop operational plans to improve and automate manual processes.
• Investigate and propose solutions to fix problems.

The Person

• Bilingual in German and English
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
• Good knowledge and understanding of finance and accounting processes.
• Experience in defining, implementing and improving processes using data and metrics.
• Experience in project management and scheduling.
• Experience in driving end to end delivery and communicating results.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

• Location: Munich, Germany
• Contract length: 12-month contract
• Working hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week in office
• Estimated start date: ASAP
• Rate: around €400 per day / €2,000 per week
