Network Operations Strategist (m/f/d)
Role Summary:
As Network Operations Strategist, the role is to support the Network Development Team to evaluate and develop recommendations for long-term representation model for the retailing and service network for the Genesis brand in Europe. The role supports the continual development of Genesis’ retail network, and implementation of measures that warrant a high customer satisfaction aligned with Genesis brand standards. It supports in the development of strategy, business case, workstreams, and resource requirements as well as supports company-wide activities to reach market readiness/launch status for company owned/operated projects. The role is also responsible to support the Network Development Manager, related to agent/dealer activation and supporting the network development team in operationalizing the new market strategy with the Hyundai NSCs or Distributors, as defined in the market launch plan.

Support the identification and development of efficient process, policies and systems in areas of responsibility
Provide input into Business Strategy considering current and future related challenges
Ensure the direct exchange of cross-departmental information
Act with an entrepreneurial mindset to support department initiatives
Work under the guidance of the Network Development Manager on mid- and long-term objectives, contributing to the department’s performance and strategic alignment
Assist in handling a wide range of tasks, involving creativity, innovation, problem-solving, communication, and coordination, while developing a strategic mindset
Evaluate and develop recommendation for long-term retail representation model
Maintain governance of all documentation pertaining to franchise applications, due diligence, approvals and contracts.
Manage the retail operations management processes
Align the necessary coordination and information required by GME as holding, with the corresponding markets and NSCs in order to operate the network operations
Support initiatives to operate collaboratively, with transparency, integrity and fairness
About you:
University degree in business or economics or other relevant fields (Bachelor/MBA etc.)
Business fluency in English is a must; German or other European language is beneficial
University degree in business or economics or other relevant fields (Bachelor/MBA etc.)
Thorough understanding of automotive business operations and model. Knowledge on different automotive distribution models incl. agency model is a plus.
Minimum 3-5 years of automotive industry experience in a retail model facing capacity or a comparable environment
Strategic roles with cross-functional oversight and understanding of operations essential
Multi-market experience preferred
Experience of network development activities and roles are a plus
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Excellent critical thinking, research, and analytical capabilities
Excellent ability to negotiate
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are desirable
