Naval Architect / Transport Engineer (M/W/D)

We at RB Maritime & Industrial Solutions GmbH plan, supervise and coordinate the transport of heavy and oversize cargoes by ship, truck and intermodal. We support our clients from the shipping and logistics sector with engineered solutions for complex tasks. Our small and dedicated team operates around the globe to find the best results and to make each project a success.

• You are in charge of all technical aspects of transport engineering for our clients.
• You will work closely with our clients and be in charge of long-term projects.
• You will create transport concepts for our clients and see the project through from the tender phase until execution for all modes of transportation.
• You will check transport concepts handed in by third parties.
• You will attend our clients' projects as Surveyor, Supercargo or Advisor.
• You approach the tasks with commercially best solution in mind.

• You have an engineering degree in naval architecture, transport engineering, civil engineering or a similar education.
• You are experienced in creating stowage plans for ships, as well as lifting, bedding, and lashing plans as well as finite elements analysis for steel structures.
• You are able to work independently.
• You have a deep knowledge of the common computer programs including Office, AutoCAD and similar.
• You speak English on a professional level and have good communication skills.
• You are interested in making our clients' projects technically and commercially successful.
• You like to work under dynamic and challenging conditions.
• You perform your work with a high dedication towards health and safety procedures.
